The Wedding

We are planning to have the wedding at the Georgia Renaissance Festival next year.  Here are some photos of the ceremony and reception site:

Ceremony location. Another shot of the alter. The place was set up for a corporate event when we visited.  Guest seating for the ceremony is in the same spot as the picnic benches.
Reception area. A side view of the alter and reception area. Our silk flower arrangements.  Tillman's mom, Kay, and our wedding planner, Heidi, found them for us.  We still have to get hurricane candles to put in the middle.

I ordered my wedding dress from Castadiva Clothiers during the last weekend of Atlanta's 2004 festival.  The sleeves of the chemise are not what I asked for, but I'm working to correct that.  Here are some photos... mind you, laying the dress out on the bed does not do it the justice it deserves:

The Corset.  It's the center piece of the dress.  Notice the diamond shaped bridal pattern. The sleeves.  I expected the sleeves to be made out of an ivory stretchy lace fabric, like the sample bridal chemise in the shop.  These sleeves are nice, but not what I wanted. The skirt.  It's actually two pieces... an underskirt and overskirt.  The underskirt has a strip of the bridal pattern running down the middle.  The over skirt ties in the front and has strips of the bridal pattern on each side.
The dress.  These photo just don't do it justice. You should have seen it when I went to Marcelle's house to try it on.  I can't wait for Till to see me in it.
